At Da3witi, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and password when you register; event details, guest names, and phone numbers you upload; payment information (processed securely by our payment provider — we do not store card details). We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and device information to improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and operate the Da3witi service; send WhatsApp invitations to your guests on your behalf; process payments and manage your account; send you service-related communications such as receipts and notifications; improve and develop new features; and comply with legal obligations.
3. Guest Data
Guest names and phone numbers you upload are used solely to deliver invitations for your event. We do not use guest contact information for our own marketing. Guest data is retained for as long as your event is active and deleted upon your request or within 12 months after the event date.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: WhatsApp (Meta) to deliver messages via the Business API; our payment processor to handle transactions; cloud infrastructure providers who process data under strict confidentiality agreements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Event and guest data is retained for 12 months after the event date, after which it is permanently deleted. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only. Despite our efforts, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your account and associated data; withdraw consent for processing where consent is the legal basis. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@da3witi.com.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookie settings through your browser, though disabling essential cookies may affect functionality.
